Commercial and Legal Issues Encountered in Commercial Enterprises Evaluated at the Online Conference

On Tuesday, March 28, at 15.30, an online conference titled “Commercial and Legal Issues Encountered in Commercial Enterprises” was held by our University’s Finance-Banking and Insurance Department Finance Program Lecturer Mehmet Erkan OKYAY . The conference saw significant participation from our vocational school students.

Hasan KILINÇ, the Founding Director of EGEM Educational Institutions, participated in the conference as a speaker.

Hasan Kılınç, after briefly introducing himself, emphasized the importance of education in legal and financial matters in the establishment and management of commercial enterprises. Kılınç stated that in order to achieve short, medium, and long-term goals in businesses, legal regulations and relations with public institutions should be taken into account. Otherwise, the resulting problems would lead to losses in capital, labor, and time, significantly affecting the profitability of firms whose reason for existence is to make a profit.

By giving examples from his personal experiences to concretize the topic, Kılınç stated that financial experience greatly contributes to overcoming financial and legal problems. Additionally, Kılınç emphasized that financial knowledge and experiences gained as an employee or employer starting from the school period provide significant support for success in business life.

The conference continued with questions from Lecturer Mehmet Erkan OKYAY and Dr. Ahmet ALANLI.

In the Q&A section of the conference, in response to the question “how important is legal education for a commercial career,” Kılınç stated that legal and financial knowledge is an indispensable requirement for commercial success and career, and it also provides great benefits in preventing and overcoming commercial risks encountered.

Finally, Kılınç gave important advice to the participants regarding their professional careers. The conference ended with Lecturer Mehmet Erkan OKYAY thanking the speaker Hasan Kılınç for his presentation.
